Portillo (Inca Lagoon) + Wine tasting at Paidahuén Archaeological Park

We will combine an archaeological visit with wine tasting, heading to the ski center Portillo (Laguna del Inca)
Taste Chilean wines in a special and different location, among cactus and petroglyphs from more than 1.000 years old in the Paidahuen archaeological park. From there you can observe the breathtaking panoramic of the different layers of the Aconcagua Valley and then continue your journey through the serpentine geography of the Andes mountain range to reach Portillo, ski center with a privileged view of the beautiful Laguna del Inca , located at 2,800 meters above sea level.

Program:

We pick you up at your hotel at 8:30 a.m. (schedule to be confirmed) in a group of no more than 12 passengers and in a modern vehicle, to take route 5 North to the valley of the Aconcagua River, 150 km of Santiago.

In a cultural tour, passing through historical sites where crossed the liberating army headed by Don Jose de San Martín (Chacabuco) and the Andes mountain range accompanied us, you will have the possibility to see (if the weather permits) the highest point of the Andes, Mount Aconcagua (6,900 masl)

The first stop is the Paidahuen archaeological site, access to the viewpoint takes 20 minutes walking, where the wine tasting will take place (included in the tour price). The landscape is simply spectacular, surrounded by petroglyphs of more than 1,000 years old and endemic cactus in the middle of the vines belonging to the vineyard In Situ.
Again in the vehicle, you will head to the oldest ski center in South America, Portillo, at 2,850 m.s. On the way you will stop to buy empanadas, old Chilean typical preparation, as a lunch (included in the price of the tour).

Once in Portillo, you will have an hour free to photograph and visit the place at will, so we will return to the capital of Chile, Santiago, returning to your hotel around 18:30 hrs.
